VoxBox it up! 2

Since my last blog about my Inluenster Voxboxes I have received a few more. Here are some images of what boxes came in the mail.

 Tasty VoxBox

Ole Henriksen VoxBox

Nexus VoxBox

And the most recent, Laura Mercier VoxBox
This product easily had to be one of my favorite to get in a VoxBox, not the foundation I had to test, but the powder. I received the Flawless Fusion Ultra-Longwear Foundation in the Shade Chai courtesy of Influenster for testing purposes only. I also received the Translucent Loose Setting Powder as an added bonus. Both packagings were breathtaking. The glass bottle where the foundation is placed it sturdy and clean. I enjoyed seeing the animal print as an added touch to the cap of the foundation. The powder also was in a sturdy and clean look component. The foundation in Chai was my exact match, thank You Influenster for matching me perfectly. Although I loved the shade and packaging of the foundation, I did not like the actual product. The application was as usual to my other foundations. I used the same techniques and the same brush (cleaned of course) that I normally use and there was a cakey unevenness to the final look. I do not use primer since my face react negatively to them, I am thinking maybe it needed some base before application. After application, I felt an inconsistency throughout my face as the day went by. Dry and oily, my foundation should not be a combination of textures, and that was what I felt throughout the wear time of this foundation. Although I did not pay anything, $49 should have a full coverage, light weight formula, durable and un-patchy formula. I do need to thank Influenster for the opportunity to try this foundation. I do love the translucent powder so thank you for that as well.

Coming soon to BH Cosmetics

The appearance;
It has its classic BH Cosmetic packaging, sleek, black, matte finish flip carton, with circular pans filled with product. It contains a great size mirror. The pan sizes are HUGE!  Fragrance was not of my liking, I am not sure if it was the packaging or the actual product, only down side to the product so far. It did have some fall out like any other highlighter, but as mentioned the pan sizes are big. With that said, you will have enough product to last a life time. (It got a little messy)

The Shine;
I first swiped with my fingers and felt a velvet creamy feel. I loved that, because it was not "chalky". Although it did have some fallout and the palette got a tad bit messy when using a packing brush. With just one swipe the pigmentation was intense and I had to quickly do my makeup to try them out. I loved the product, the quantity, and the color range. I feel like there is a color for every skin tone. With one coat it had a shine you can see right away, metallic and shimmery without the cheap glitter effect. It is build-able meaning I was able to swipe more product and pass my brush several times to get an even more intense glow and shimmer. I did one layer after swirling the brush a few time son the pan and had an outstanding shine you can see from outer space. You can customize how intense or subtle you desire your highlight. I used all six shades several times. My favorite is Allure (dark pink) and for my skin tone I loved Dream (golden)

More;
This product's retails price and launch date is still unknown, although no need to worry, because BH Cosmetics has high-end quality products to fit any budget, along with fast shipping. When they come out I will definitely be getting the Blacklight palette as well.

I received this free pallet from BH cosmetics courtesy of the brand for testing purposes only these are my own, honest comments and reviews.

VoxBox it up!

I received my second VoxBox in the mail last week and the truth of it all is, I did not want to test WATER. It was the Nestle Splash VoxBox in the Flavor Strawberry Melon. Even less flavored sparkling water, if it was actual plain jane water, I would be interested. All I kept thinking was give me makeup, GIVE ME MAKEUP! But what can I do? Now the sunglasses I WOULD NEVER USE, going straight to my dad who loves promotional eyewear. The straw is disposable and the beach ball is out of season. Yes this box came in the week before Labor Day and I will post the SnapChat with the Labor day weekend filter to prove it. So all I had was the water, that tasted horrible warm. It had a cough medicine taste to it, strawberry more than melon taste. I put it in the sub-zero chillibrator (watch Dr. Seuss How the Grinch Stole Christmas) with hopes of the taste changing. So I waited, and waited and waited and finally ... it tasted exactly the same. For those who love sparkling water, this Nestle Splash is right up your alley, it has a soft refresshing taste that will give you a kick of summer even in the coldest of winters. So try it out, unless you are like me who does not like flavored water. The box itself was too beautiful, tie-dye purple and blue hues. I will use it for makeup box storage next to my Bonita VoxBox. If you want to see what was inside my Bonita VoxBox, keep reading.

Look how beautiful my Bonita VoxBox was. It contained a full size nail polish from Sinful color, one single pack of Fiber one brownie (amazeballs), a full size Dickinsons Witchhazel toner water, two samples of Madam CJ Walker in Dream Come True Wonderful Pre-Wash Protein Treatment and Dream Come True Wonderful Deep Conditioning Masque, a Revlon and Walgreens $1 off coupon with two samples of their Lipstick and Matte Lip Gloss. I was so in love with this box, being a beauty junkee and all. I know they have another beauty box for me. I won't give up on them!
